Every Familiar Magic order is prepared with care in my Ontario, Canada workshop. Whether you've chosen a tiny woodland treasure, a handmade leather journal, or an entire miniature world, I want it to arrive safely and ready to enjoy.

Processing Times

Ready-to-ship items are generally packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

Custom or made-to-order pieces may require additional preparation time. Any extended processing times will be noted in the product description or communicated before your order ships.

Business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays.

Shipping Carriers

I use several trusted shipping carriers to find the most suitable service for your destination.

Depending on your location, package size, delivery speed, and available services, your order may ship with:

• Canada Post

• UPS

• Purolator

• Canpar

The carrier is selected at my discretion to provide a practical balance of reliability, delivery speed, and cost.

The carrier used may differ from any estimated service displayed at checkout, but the shipping service selected will be appropriate for your destination.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated or displayed at checkout based on your delivery destination and the shipping options available for your order.

You'll always see the applicable shipping charge before completing your purchase.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on your location, the carrier, weather conditions, and seasonal shipping volumes.

Any delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates.

Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information when tracking is available.

Packaging & Care

Familiar Magic specializes in handmade and often one-of-a-kind pieces, so careful packaging is especially important.

Fragile miniatures, glass pieces, leather goods, and other delicate treasures are packed with appropriate protective materials to help keep them safe during their journey.

Where possible, I reuse clean, suitable packaging materials to reduce waste without compromising protection.

International Shipping

International shipping is available to destinations enabled at checkout.

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges assessed by their destination country, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless specifically indicated.

Customs inspections and international processing may cause delays beyond my control.

Incorrect Addresses & Undeliverable Packages

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.

If you notice an error, contact me as soon as possible. I'll do my best to help before your package ships.

If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at checkout, additional shipping charges may apply to resend it.

Missing or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me promptly with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging, if available.

If your package appears lost or tracking has stopped updating, please get in touch so I can help investigate with the shipping carrier.

I'll work with you toward an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
