Buttery-soft brown leather gives this journal its warm, earthy character, while the natural edges of the hide create a wonderfully rugged silhouette.

I hand-drew delicate oats and apple blossoms onto the cover, adding a subtle nod to horses, open fields, and the beauty of the countryside.

And because I believe beautiful materials deserve a second life, I worked with the leather's natural imperfections rather than cutting them away.

A small hole in the original hide became an opportunity for a lovely green suede patch inside the pocket.

Sometimes the imperfections make the best magic. 😉
